About the role
Position: IMEX Terminal Coordinator
Location: Moorebank, NSW
Roster: 4 days on / 4 days off rotating roster
Shift: 2 day shift roles and 2 night shift roles available
The primary purpose of the Terminal Coordinator is to monitor and coordinate the operational execution within the IMEX Terminal, whilst considering operational targets and observing commercial and safety factors.
What will your role at Qube look like?
- Monitor & coordinate the execution of rail discharge & load to support the scheduled plan, ensuring work queues are activated and work instructions are executable.
- Monitor & coordinate the execution of truck receival & delivery within the IMEX terminal ensuring optimal truck turnaround times.
- Monitor & coordinate the execution of warehouse receival & deliveries ensuring the terminal exceeds customer demands.
- Execute all RC desk jobs in a timely manner to support optimal productivity.
- Coordinate the utilization of automated equipment supporting planned maintenance and driving execution excellence.
- Monitor & execute high wind stacking procedures during high wind events.
- Rapidly resolve any issues that may arise within the operational execution
- Support operations management to reach scheduled productivity targets.
- Capture, collate and report key performance indicators.
- Strict application and adherence to safety requirements as stipulated by Safe Operating Policies & Procedures and safety legislation.
- Any other duties deemed reasonable by management.
About You
- Essential:
- 12 months or more operations experience.
- 12 months or more experience within terminal operating systems.
- Experience in working under a safe working environment.
- Preferred:
- 12 months or more experience in container handling operations
- Tertiary and/or professional qualifications in technology.
- Knowledge and experience in Navis N4 and/or Kalmar TLS
- Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
- Work collaboratively and harmoniously as a part of a team
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
- Reliable, team player, with a can-do attitude
