About the Role
We are seeking General Hand Marshallers to join our Timaru Log Marshalling team on a permanent basis. Your role is hands‑on — you’ll be working inside a custom‑built warehouse, where logging trucks drive through to have every single log ticketed and scaled. And if you can imagine that every log needs a ticket… that’s your job. Accuracy matters. You’ll support the smooth flow of trucks through the warehouse, help maintain safety standards, and work closely with the marshalling teams to keep operations moving efficiently.
Location: Timaru Port
Status: Full-time, Mon-Fri with flexibility required
Specific Responsibilities:
- Ticketing logs — attaching tickets for tracking and traceability
- Supporting safe cargo movement in line with operational requirements
- Working collaboratively with the Checkpoint team
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and reporting incidents immediately

- Restricted Class 1 Driver’s License Minimum
