The Role
We are seeking an experienced In Vehicle Management Systems technician to join the Qube Bulk team located in our West Perth office.
The IVMS Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and continuous improvement of In Vehicle Management Systems (IVMS) and associated technologies across Qube’s fleet. This role ensures the reliability, safety, and operational efficiency of connected systems, supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic site improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- IVMS System Diagnostics and Analysis
- Manage Orders of IVMS Parts and Critical Spares
- Provide Support to the Fleet Monitoring Centre (FMC)
- Management of Connected IVMS Systems
- Product Development and Testing
- Site Improvement Projects
- Training/Knowledge Sharing
Qualifications and Experience
- Desired but not essential - Trade certificate in Auto Electrical, Light Vehicle, or Heavy Diesel
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence (essential).
- Experience with IVMS, GPS tracking, and connected vehicle technologies.
- Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong fault finding, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
