About the Role

Position: Casual General Hand Marshaller

Qube is hiring Casual General Hand Marshallers to handle cargo efficiently and accurately. You'll work alongside our rail team and log cartage operators. You must be prepared to work 12-hour shifts in all weather conditions.

Location: Napier Port

Status: $31.74 per hour. Casual, as and when required basis – you will be busy at peak times 

Your job duties would be:

• Ticketing Logs – Stapling tickets onto logs ends

• Tallying – Counting, barcode scanning, manually recording, and marking cargo being loaded/unloaded from vessels or moved in/out of storage

You will also need to:

• Have an excellent can-do attitude and a desire to learn
• Be highly detail-oriented and accurate
• Work well within a team setting
• Reliable, physically fit, and able to work in all weather conditions
• Hold a minimum of Restricted Class 1 driver’s license
