The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Full time Compliance Coordinator to join our Qube Kalgoorlie assisting our Operations and Maintenance Team. The Compliance Coordinator will provide administrative support and perform specific and general administrative duties to support the Qube Team.


Key responsibilities:

  • Compliance Administration: Maintain Class 1 explosives compliance records, registers, checklists, forms and evidence packs so they are current, traceable and audit ready. 
  • Safety Administration: Maintain safety records, pre-start evidence, corrective action tracking, toolbox records, consultation records, inspection evidence and incident / hazard reporting administration for the Class 1 explosives operation. 
  • HSE Compliance Support: Support implementation of Qube safety requirements, site safety obligations, Chain of Responsibility controls, dangerous goods / explosives transport controls and client HSE reporting requirements. 
  • Operations and Site Safety Support: Coordinate safety communications, toolbox materials, safety alerts, site access requirements and supporting documentation for drivers, supervisors and operational teams. 
  • Licensing and Authorisations: Track driver licences, security clearances, appointments, inductions, training records, medicals and competency evidence required for Class 1 explosives activities. 
  • Registers and Tracking: Maintain compliance registers including training matrix inputs, personnel records, vehicle / trailer / freight container records, customer or site access requirements and action registers. 
  • Audit and Assurance Support: Assist with internal audits, client assurance requests, regulator information requests, close-out tracking and collation of objective evidence. 
  • Data Integrity: Ensure information entered into trackers, SharePoint folders, spreadsheets and business systems is accurate, complete and aligned with document naming and retention requirements. 
  • Confidentiality and Security: Handle sensitive personnel, security and explosives-related information with appropriate confidentiality, access control and escalation of any concerns. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve compliance workflows, filing structures, checklists, forms and reporting to support practical operational control. 
  • Safety and Risk: Support Qube safety expectations by escalating missing evidence, expired credentials, incomplete forms, non-conformances, security concerns and other compliance risks promptly. 

About you:

  • Previous experience in administration, compliance support or operations support within logistics, transport, resources, mining, civil construction or similar industry. 
  • Experience supporting safety, compliance, audit, training, induction, licensing, permitting or site access processes is highly regarded. 
  • Class 1 explosives, dangerous goods, heavy vehicle, security-sensitive or regulated transport exposure would be highly regarded. 
  • Practical understanding of safety administration, hazard and incident records, corrective action tracking, toolbox communications and audit evidence requirements is highly regarded. 
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records, registers and evidence packs. 
  • High level of organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise business-critical deadlines and follow up actions to closure. 
  • Confident working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint or similar document management systems. 
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to liaise with drivers, supervisors, client representatives and external stakeholders. 
  • Able to work independently, maintain confidentiality and escalate compliance issues without delay. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, security, Chain of Responsibility principles and accurate record keeping. 
  • Able to provide a National Police Clearance and meet site, client and security-related pre-employment requirements.
