About the Role

Position: Empty Container Forklift Driver
Location: Moorebank, NSW
Status: Full Time
Roster: Day Shift (6:00am – 3:00pm)

We are seeking an experienced Empty Handler Operator - Forklift Driver to join our busy Moorebank container depot. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of empty handler equipment, supporting daily depot activities through the movement, stacking and handling of empty containers.

Duties

• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts
• Handle empty containers in line with daily operational procedures
• Reposition containers throughout the depot as required
• Stack containers in accordance with Safe Working Instructions
• Conduct pre-start inspections and report any faults or maintenance requirements
• Maintain a tidy, organised and safe yard environment
• Complete all associated operational and compliance documentation accurately
• Take proper care of forklifts, plant and equipment under your control
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and operational requirements
• Support depot productivity while maintaining high safety and compliance standards
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and depot team members to achieve operational goals

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current Forklift Licence (LF)
• Experience handling empty containers within a depot, terminal or container yard environment 
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to compliance
• Good attention to detail and reliable work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
• Flexible and adaptable approach to changing operational demands
• Willingness to undergo regular Drug and Alcohol testing

Successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment, including functional assessment and Drug & Alcohol screening.
