What's the role?  

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter join the well-established Qube team in Port Hedland at the Eastern Harbour Port facility.

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:  

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Must have relevant trade certifications – ideally qualified for 3+ years’
• Ideally holds current High Risk Work Licence – forklift, rigging, dogging, working at heights etc.
• Air-Conditioning Ticket – highly regarded
• Demonstrated working experience with heavy vehicles & heavy machinery
• Must have prior experience in ports, heavy transport or mining environments
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people 
• Strong analytical thinker with an ability to make concise and compelling decisions 
• Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed 
• Must hold current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) – or ability to obtain
• National Police Clearance (within 6 months validity) – or ability to obtain
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening 
• Good mechanical aptitude
