About the Role
 
We’re seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair a wide range of heavy off‑road machinery, including loaders, material handlers, terminal tractors and forklifts. As a 24/7 operation, we rely on our mechanical team to keep our stevedoring and logistics equipment running around the clock.
 
Location: Tauranga
 
Status: Base $43.60 p/h Full-time, Mon-Fri working 7am to 4pm
 
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Replacing / repairing machinery components
  • Servicing machinery
  • Diagnosing and repairing a variety of heavy loaders, excavators, forklifts & trucks
  • Repairs to attachments, grapples & log heads
Who we're after:
  • Relevant NZQA Level 4 trade qualification, and a minimum of three years of verified relevant experience required.
  • Proven experience working on heavy vehicles and machinery.
  • Solid understanding of hydraulic systems.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Bring a positive, can-do attitude to the role.
