ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking experienced HR / HC Tipper Truck Drivers to join our team based at Kooragang Island in Newcastle.

This position is casual employment, with a rate of $50 per hour. This role involves short‑haul transport between vessel and nearby storage facilities within a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.

Specific Responsibilities

• Driving HR / HC tipper trucks on short‑haul runs from vessel to nearby storage facilities
• Operating within a 24/7 roster, including:
• Day and night shifts
• Weekends
• 12‑hour shifts
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to support container and port operations
• Comply with all safety, fatigue management, and operational procedures

Qualifications & Experience

• Current HR or HC licence
• Previous tipper or port / container operations experience (preferred)
• Ability to work a rotating 24/7 roster, including nights and weekends
• Strong focus on safety and compliance
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work in a high‑demand environment
