Qube Logistics & Infrastructure (QL&I) is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Inventory Controller to join our Moorebank Warehouse team. This key role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring customer stock is managed efficiently and effectively.

About the Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing all inventory requirements within the warehouse, ensuring stock accuracy, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance with customer and business requirements.
You will play a critical role in supporting warehouse operations, maintaining inventory integrity, and driving process improvements that enhance service delivery and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all inventory requirements across warehouse operations.
- Coordinate cycle counts and stocktakes in line with customer requirements and company procedures.
- Monitor stock availability and inventory accuracy through ongoing system reviews.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, losses, and damaged stock.
- Complete inventory reconciliations and maintain accurate stock records.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
- Prepare weekly inventory reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with warehouse teams to maintain stock integrity and service levels.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across inventory and warehouse processes.
- Liaise with customers regarding inventory enquiries, adjustments, and reporting requirements.
- Assist with freight checking, labelling, and stock verification activities as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and operational procedures.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, or warehouse operations.
- Experience within a logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environment.
- Strong computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- High attention to detail and excellent data accuracy skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- A reliable, proactive, and team-focused approach.
- Forklift licence (desirable) or willingness to obtain one.
