What's the role?
We are looking for an experienced & locally-based Leading Hand Driver to join the well-established Qube Bulk team in Geraldton.
This position forms an integral part of the Midwest Haulage & Logistics team, a successful applicant will primarily be participating in the operations to & from Geraldton and the Lynton GMA mine site.

Qualifications and Experience
In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:
- Current HR License or higher
- Current High-Risk Forklift Ticket
- MUST hold current WA Statutory Supervisor (S26) Certification
- Current Front-End Loader ticket – or ability to obtain (highly regarded)
- Minimum 2+ years prior working experience in a Leading Hand position or similar
- Minimum 2+ years prior working experience within the mining, heavy diesel maintenance or transport industry
- Capability to demonstrate leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve results
- An understanding of safety & compliance practices and regulations within the industry, including an understanding of the chain of responsibility
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to communicate with a variety of people
- Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed
- Ability to be flexible & adaptable to work in a demanding environment
- National Police Clearance – dated within 12 months of application
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Good mechanical aptitude
