About the Role
We're seeking an experienced White Fleet Mechanic to join our Auckland Port workshop.
You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing our fleet of light vehicles, utes, vans and service trucks. Working as part of a busy workshop team, you'll help ensure our fleet remains safe, reliable and available to support port operations.
Location: Auckland Port
Status: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Specific Responsibilities:
- Service and maintain white fleet vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
- Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Carry out safety inspections and compliance checks
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Support a strong safety culture and commitment to Zero Harm
Who We're After:
- NZQA Level 4 Automotive Engineering qualification (or NZQA-recognised equivalent)
- Experience maintaining light vehicles and fleet assets
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
