About the Role
 
We have a permanent position available for a multi-skilled machine operator at our Pan Pac operation. You will be covering all machinery roles on the site, including log loaders and wheeled high stackers. This will involve shift work with both day and night shifts. Log handling experience is a must. We prioritize safety consciousness and seek candidates with a positive attitude, maturity, and those that are keen to get stuck into it!
 
Location: Pan Pac, Napier
 
Status: Full-time, Rostered work
 
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Operating a log loader and wheeled high stacker, you will be;
  • Arranging logs into orderly rows.
  • Transferring logs around the log yard.
  • Loading log decks for the Chipmill and Sawmill
  • Maintaining open communication with the team.
Who we're after:
  • Log handling experience.
  • To be a genuine team player with a can-do attitude.
  • A current Full class 1 NZ Driver's License.
  • To be drug-free and open to regular random drug testing.
  • To complete a criminal history and ACC check.
  • Able to work Day and Night shifts where required
