ABOUT THE ROLE

Qube Forestry is seeking a motivated and reliable Log Scaler to join the team in Hobart. This is an entry-level role, and no previous log scaling or forestry experience is required. Full training will be provided following onboarding.

You will assist with a variety of duties across the log yard, helping to ensure the safe and efficient handling, quality checking, and processing of export logs. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is eager to learn.

• Must hold a current unrestricted license
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Good work ethic
• Ability to perform physical outdoor work

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Assisting with log measurements and quality checks
• Truck checking & sign in
• Data entry and record keeping
• Row mark-up and general yard duties
• Supporting day-to-day yard operations as required
