The Opportunity
Qube Bulk are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join the Thunderbox operations team in the Northern Goldfields region, WA.
This position will be responsible for the supervision of maintenance crews on site, ensuring that all maintenance & repairs of prime mover fleets, earth moving equipment & trailers is completed in accordance with operational requirements.
- Permanent, full-time position
- Based at the Thunderbox & Bronzewing mine sites
- FIFO – from any major airport within Australia
- 2-on/1-off roster – day & night shifts

Specific Responsibilities
- Leadership and Supervision of designated crew
- Ensuring staff have skills required to undertake tasks as designated
- Maintain fleet paper trail on servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Communicate effectively with drivers and plant operators
- Order parts using order numbers and listed suppliers
- Maintenance of company vehicles and mechanical aids
- Maintenance schedule and operating manuals/procedures.
- Identify and record deficiencies relating to products and services.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must hold Mechanical Trade Certification
- MUST hold current WA Statutory Supervisor (S26) Certification
- Hold current High-Risk Forklift Ticket – or ability to obtain
- Minimum 2+ years of qualified experience in a Mechanical Fitter position or similar
- Ideally a minimum of 12+ months prior Supervisor or Leading Hand experience within the mining, heavy diesel maintenance or transport industry
- Ideally any amount of prior working experience within the mining, heavy diesel & transport industry (within any role)
- National Police Clearance – dated within 12 months of application
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to communicate with a variety of people
- Ability to carry out truck and trailer tyre replacements, inspections, rotations and minor repairs and maintain records of work
- Have an understanding of safety & compliance practices and regulations within the industry, including an understanding of the chain of responsibility
- Ability to identify and record deficiencies relating to products and services
- Good mechanical aptitude
