We're seeking an experienced, commercially astute and people focused Operations Superintendent – Resources, Supply Base & Projects to join our Perth leadership team.

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, this pivotal leadership role is responsible for the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of operational services across our Resources, Supply Base and Projects portfolio throughout Western Australia.

The successful candidate will lead a diverse operational workforce, build strong customer relationships, drive operational and financial performance, and play a key role in supporting future growth opportunities across Mining, Oil & Gas, Industrial and Supply Chain sectors.

About the role

Based at our Perth Supply Base in Hazelmere, this role provides end to end ownership of operational delivery across Resources, Supply Base and Project activities.

You will be responsible for ensuring operations are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably while maintaining exceptional service standards for our customers.

Working closely with operational leaders, support functions and key stakeholders, you will balance safety, operational performance, workforce capability, customer expectations and commercial outcomes to ensure sustainable business success.

This role will support a broad customer base across the Mining, Oil & Gas, Resources and Industrial sectors and requires a leader capable of operating in complex, high risk and fast paced environments.

What you'll be doing

• Leading operational delivery across Resources, Supply Base and Project activities throughout WA
• Driving operational excellence across warehousing, logistics, supply chain and project delivery functions
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships as a senior operational representative of Qube
• Championing QUBE SAFE principles and fostering a culture where safety is always the highest priority
• Leading workforce planning, labour allocation and operational resource optimisation
• Managing operational performance, forecasting, budgeting and cost control
• Supporting commercial opportunities, quotations, contract mobilisations and business growth initiatives
• Identifying operational risks, constraints and continuous improvement opportunities
• Developing frontline leaders, supervisors and operational teams
• Delivering monthly operational and financial performance reporting
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent and scalable operational delivery
• Driving operational readiness to support future contract growth and project mobilisation activities

• Proven leadership experience in operational environments
• Strong people leadership and team development capability
• Demonstrated experience managing operational performance and customer relationships
• Commercial and financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting and cost control
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem solving skills
• Experience managing workforces within high risk operational environments
• Commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement

Highly Desirable

• Significant experience within the Resources, Mining, Oil & Gas, Logistics, Supply Base or Supply Chain sectors
• Experience in supply chain management, warehousing, logistics and project operations
• Knowledge of contract mobilisation, shutdowns, maintenance campaigns and major project execution
• Understanding of multi disciplinary operational environments and complex customer requirements
