People & Culture Advisor – Mount Maunganui

As a People & Culture Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role partnering with our operational leaders across New Zealand, delivering practical P&C advise and support in a fast-paced, hands-on setting. You'll be visible on site, building genuine relationships and providing high quality advice and support where it matters most.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide expert P&C and ER advice to business leaders and employees
  • Lead and support investigations, disciplinary processes, and performance management
  • Prepare employment agreements, variations, and a range of P&C documentation
  • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment campaign management, including onboarding and offboarding functions
  • Coach leaders to build capability in people management, ER, and best‑practice
  • Support workforce planning, succession discussions, and organisational development initiatives
  • Contribute to policy development, review, and implementation
  • Uphold safe work practices and support wellbeing initiatives
  • Assist with engagement activities and business initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement across P&C processes, systems, and employee experience

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in HR or employment relations
  • Strong knowledge of NZ employment law and confident handling of ER issues
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage tough conversations
  • Practical, solutions-focused approach with strong admin and computer skills
  • Relevant HR or employment relations qualification
