Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of the Shed Supervisor is to supervise and manage day‑to‑day warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant movement, storage, and handling of goods. This role provides leadership to warehouse and administrative staff, ensuring operational targets, safety standards, customer service expectations, and quality requirements are consistently met.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Oversee receiving and distribution of bulk storage operation.
  • Implement / review operational policies and procedures.
  • Implement / review work health safety & environmental policies and procedures.
  • Oversee site security and implement necessary security.
  • Ensure safe and effective use of warehouse equipment.
  • Ensure safety to staff and contractors on site.
  • Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities.
  • Maintain WHS systems and standards.
  • Oversee scheduled maintenance / urgent repairs of equipment and warehouse.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Create reports regularly to communicate essential information to the client and as required by the operations manager.
  • Operate machinery and weighbridge.
  • Supervise staff and contractors / ensure they have skills and licence to undertake tasks.
  • Ensure Qube policies and procedures and those related to client operations are understood and followed.

Qualifications / Experience / Requirements

  • HRW Licence for FEL, Skid Steer, Forklift.
  • Ability to gain any environmental qualifications to oversee site.
  • Complete Approved Arrangement Accreditation for AA Accredited Persons (Classes 1-8) (GOLD) course.
