What's the role?
We are looking for an experienced Shift Electrician join the well-established Qube team at the Utah Point Port Facility in Port Hedland, WA.
The Shift Electrician is responsible for the daily operation, inspection, repair and maintenance of electrical work inline with overall operational requirements.

- Based in Port Hedland, for local applicants only
- Even-time 7-on/7-off – 12 hour shifts
- Day shifts mainly – night shifts only when operationally required.

Qualifications and Experience
In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:
- Must have an Electrical Fitter or Electrical Mechanic trade certificate – ‘A’ Grade WA Endorsed
- Essential to have have High Voltage Ticket
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Fixed Plant or Mobile Plant mining environment
- Capability to demonstrate leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve results
- An understanding of safety & compliance practices and regulations within the industry, including an understanding of the chain of responsibility
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to communicate with a variety of people
- Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed
- Ability to identify and record deficiencies relating to products and services
- Ability to be flexible & adaptable to work in a demanding environment
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Good mechanical aptitude
