Position: HSEQ Administrator Coordinator 

Location: Tauranga

Status: This is a full time waged position working Monday to Friday - office based role

Key Objective of Role:

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support our General Manager for Health & Safety. You’ll be the key liaison for managing various administrative tasks, with a focus on Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (HSEQ). This role requires an independent, go-getter who can connect the dots and juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

On a day-to-day basis, you will assist with, but not limited to:

  • Schedule and arrange meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks such as filing, document preparation, and handling correspondence.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Prioritize and manage tasks autonomously, anticipating needs and proactively addressing issues before they arise.
  • Identify and implement improvements in administrative processes to enhance efficiency and support the General Manager's objectives.

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or support role, preferably within a health & safety or similar environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for connecting and liaising with various stakeholders.
  • High level of initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in office software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software).
  • Tertiary qualification.
