We also deliver a range of tanker services from pneumatic operations for cement and lime through to bulk liquid tankers for fuel and sulphuric acid.
The Opportunity:
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated Heavy Lift and Transport Engineer to join our Qube Bulk Heavy Lift Team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for all engineering requirements relating to Heavy Lifting and Specialist Transport including the production and review of lift and transportation studies, swept path analysis, calculations, procedures and drawings.
- Creation of designs to achieve the highest results in safety and ensuring project delivery with client satisfaction.
- You will have the ability to direct superintendents, supervisors and blue-collar workers. Your thorough knowledge of heavy lift engineering will see you excel in this pivotal role.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- A strong background in the heavy lift industry with a with a relevant qualification in Engineering
- Extensive knowledge and experience with a wide range of heavy lift cranes, specialist transport equipment including modular transport systems
- Proven ability in the production of industry standard heavy lift, transport and swept path studies and procedures including load and stability calculations
- Well-developed communication and computer skills including experience using AUTOCAD, Microsoft Office and a range of manufactures specific software
- Experience within the materials handling, renewables, power generation and oil and gas industry will be highly regarded.
