About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Systems Business Partner to join our logistics team within the resources sector. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that our IT systems and solutions align with our strategic business objectives, enhancing operational efficiency and driving value across our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both logistics processes and IT systems, enabling them to effectively bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions.

Location: Qube Energy Office, Perth WA

Status: Full Time

Salary: $145k plus super 

Duties

  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with logistics stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for IT systems and solutions that support logistics operations.
  • Strategic Alignment: Develop and implement IT strategies that are aligned with the logistics department's goals and objectives within the resources industry.
  • Project Management: Coordinate with operational managers and IT teams to oversee the execution of logistics-related IT projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Change Management: Lead change management initiatives related to new technology implementations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to logistics operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication between logistics and IT departments, ensuring both sides understand each other's challenges and requirements.
  • Performance Evaluation: Monitor the effectiveness of IT systems and processes in logistics operations, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
  • Training and Support: Develop and provide training and support to end-users to ensure they effectively utilize the systems and tools available to them.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks associated with logistics IT projects and work with stakeholders to create mitigation strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that enhance logistics efficiency and effectiveness.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Business Partner, or similar role within the logistics or resources industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, supply chain management, and IT systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
