About the role
As a Gatehouse Clerk your role will serve as the first point of contact for operators entering the Container Park. Your motivation, high level customer service skills, along with your attention to detail will see all tasks completed with efficiency and timeliness.
Location: West Melbourne, VIC
Status: Full Time
Shift: Afternoon Shift, 2pm to 10pm
Duties:
- Communicate effectively with Operators through the Container Park
- Courteous and efficient processing of driver’s documentation
- Timely response to issues raised by major clients and customers with courtesy at all times
- Maintain a high standard of customer service to ensure sound ongoing business relationships are maintained
- Problem solve using own initiative, keeping Qube Logistics clients updated with progress on transportation issues
About you
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following;
- Experience with logistics environment preferred
- Understanding of and prior experience with road transport planning & wharf cartage highly regarded
- Excellent planning and problem solving skills
- Confident verbal and interpersonal skills
