About the role

Position: QA & Container Export Manager - Narromine

Working closely with the Site Manager and Logistics Manager, the QA & Container Export Manager is responsible for ensuring grain commodities are packed and inspected in line with government regulations and deadlines for export out of Australia.

Location: Narromine, NSW 

Status: Full Time 

Duties

  • Allocate and oversee daily export activities in accordance with policies and procedures, with a keen focus on Quality, Regulatory Compliance, Safety & Hygiene
  • Monitor production outcomes, including the identification of areas for improvement
  • Conduct AO Inspections efficiently and effectively (Training & Accreditation will be required)
  • Prepare & submit Export documentation within tight deadlines
  • Assist and support the Site Manager with day to day tasks as required

Essential skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Grain Industry is desirable
  • Existing AO Qualification beneficial
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively
  • Eye for detail and high level of accuracy
  • Proven capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Intermediate Computer skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
  • Grain classification experience
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations
  • Current driver’s license
