About the Role:
The Contract Support Specialist will be integral in supporting the Commercial Manager with the development, negotiation, and administration of contractual arrangements with suppliers and customers. This role will focus on ensuring profitability through agreement pricing and structure, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and providing commercial support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key contact for contractual matters with customers and suppliers.
- Lead pricing for contract management, ensuring competitive rates.
- Maintain and update contract records for visibility and communication.
- Provide guidance and training to Regional Port Managers on contracts.
- Manage capital expenditure administration.
- Uphold QUBE’s core values and ensure compliance with safety and risk standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1-5 years experience in contract management in either port logistics/commercial background with a strong understanding of contract management and the tendering process.
- Advanced Microsoft Office and general computer skills and able to pick up multiple systems quickly.
- Ability to think outside the square, solve problems effectively, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail are essential.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders, provide commercial support to Port and Senior Managers, and lead pricing and contract negotiations
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
