About the Program:
The Qube Cadet Program sets the framework for recent graduates and high-school leavers to enter the logistics and/or transport industry via Qube.
This 2-year program sees cadets gain experience within various parts of the business.
Throughout the 2-year program, not only do we provide training and mentoring at every stage of development, there are also regular check-ins with the Qube team to ensure you stay engaged along your Qube journey.

Role: Full Time
Location: Port of Brisbane
Role Responsibilities:
- Performs Daily upgrades of containers, minor repairs and applies basic welding processes
- Enforce and adhere to all licensing obligations set out to the company by the Australian Customs Service and Australian Quarantine & Inspection Services.
- Inspecting containers for damage, defects or faults as per client criteria
- Ensure containers are moved to an available status quickly and effectively on demand
- Quoting container repair cost to customer requirements in an accurate manner
- Complete any other clerical duties / functions as directed and undergo audits as required
- Maintain and record all documentation in an efficient, professional and timely manner
- Coordinate quality control checks of repair standards
- Act as a point of internal/external communication about container repair ad movement of container through the repair bay
- Maintain a clean working area
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures for safe work practices and environmental requirements
- Attend and participate in Meetings when required
- Ad hoc duties as directed by line Manager
