About the Program:

The Qube Cadet Program sets the framework for recent graduates and high-school leavers to enter the logistics and/or transport industry via Qube.

This 2-year program sees cadets gain experience within various parts of the business.

Throughout the 2-year program, not only do we provide training and mentoring at every stage of development, there are also regular check-ins with the Qube team to ensure you stay engaged along your Qube journey.

Role: Full Time

Location: Port of Brisbane

Role Responsibilities:

  • Performs Daily upgrades of containers, minor repairs and applies basic welding processes 
  • Enforce and adhere to all licensing obligations set out to the company by the Australian Customs Service and Australian Quarantine & Inspection Services.
  • Inspecting containers for damage, defects or faults as per client criteria
  • Ensure containers are moved to an available status quickly and effectively on demand
  • Quoting container repair cost to customer requirements in an accurate manner
  • Complete any other clerical duties / functions as directed and undergo audits as required
  • Maintain and record all documentation in an efficient, professional and timely manner
  • Coordinate quality control checks of repair standards
  • Act as a point of internal/external communication about container repair ad movement of container through the repair bay
  • Maintain a clean working area
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures for safe work practices and environmental requirements
  • Attend and participate in Meetings when required
  • Ad hoc duties as directed by line Manager
