Permanent position available for a Compliance/Safety Coordinator. You will be working within a 24/7 shift environment with opportunities to diversify and broaden your skills. You will get the opportunity to work in a high performing team with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality.
An opportunity exists for a Compliance/Safety Coordinator to join our team at NAT Grain Terminal, Carrington. This role will also include operational duties and understanding.
The position will be required to demonstrate a flexible attitude and perform a variety of duties. A proactive approach and ability to work independently will be a must in this role.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Compliance/Safety/Quality qualifications
- Operational experience
- Previous experience in heavy industry or logistics
- Strong approach to safety, problem solving, and decision making
- High degree of computer literacy
- Quality Management and document control experience
- Training and assessment skills
The following qualifications and skills are desirable but not essential for the successful candidate:
- Previous experience in the grain industry or similar materials handling environment
- MSIC
- Experience with Rapid Induct and INX systems
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
- Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas experience
