What’s the role?

We are seeking experienced Camp Coordinator to join the Qube team within our Midwest region at our Geraldton depot. This is a full-time role, with onsite accommodation being available for the right candidate. The Camp Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations and coordination of camp services to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all residents at the mining camp.

This role acts as a key liaison between site personnel, contractors, and service providers to support smooth camp operations, logistics, and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all accommodation related issues, ensuring timely resolution of resident queries and concerns.
  • Coordinate accommodation allocations, room check-ins/check-outs, and booking amendments in the camp management system.
  • Oversee the general cleanliness, functionality, and safety of the camp facilities (accommodation, mess, laundry, gym, etc.).
  • Liaise with catering, cleaning, maintenance, and other service providers to ensure service standards and schedules are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities, reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Support mobilisation and demobilisation processes including arrivals, departures, and room readiness.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports relating to occupancy, maintenance requests, and incidents.
  • Promote and support a positive camp culture, including compliance with company policies, procedures, and behavioural expectations.
  • Assist with coordination of events, toolbox talks, and site communications where required.
  • Monitor stock levels of camp supplies and coordinate replenishment as necessary.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the mining, construction, or remote accommodation sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage issues calmly and effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and remote environment.
  • Sound knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards in remote settings.
  • Basic understanding of maintenance or facility management desirable.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
