About the Role
We’re looking for a Casual Workshop Assistant to support our workshop team with day‑to‑day machinery care and basic maintenance. This role focuses on keeping our equipment clean, serviced, and ready for operation. You’ll be working alongside experienced mechanics at our new Refurbishment workshop based in Tauriko.
Location: Tauriko
Status: Casual basis, as and when required
Specific Responsibilities:
- Cleaning, greasing, lubricating, and carrying out basic maintenance on machinery and attachments
- Assisting mechanics and engineers undertaking machinery rebuilds
- Assisting the workshop team to keep equipment safe, compliant, and operational
Who we're after:
- Minimum of entry level NZ Certification in Automotive Engineering.
- Desire to advance through the trade and work on forklifts, heavy vehicles and machinery.
- Basic understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Bring a positive, can-do attitude to the role.
