The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join the Qube team in Cloncurry, to manage the administrative duties of our Northwest Queensland Operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following;

  • At least 1 years’ working experience in an Administrator role or similar
  • Experience in the heavy transport & mining industry (ideal, but not mandatory)
  • Highly experienced with all Microsoft Suite applications
  • Prior experience with email management, data entry & general administrative duties
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of people
  • Be able to work well in a team environment as well as be able to work independently
  • Assist other administration team members
  • Accounts payable experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise projects
  • Proven ability to pick up internal systems (IT) quickly

Key Responsibilities

This role forms an integral part of the project team, responsible for administrative functions and providing support to the rest of the team. You will perform various administrative and clerical tasks to support our office and the operational team, ensuring that all administrative tasks within the office are carried out in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Scheduling accommodation for site personnel
  • Creating & actioning purchase orders
  • To ensure all relevant paperwork is collated and attached as per invoicing procedures
  • Accounts payable & receivable management
  • Maintain a register and assist in the processing of employee inductions
  • Maintain employee personnel & training files 
  • Ordering of office stationery requirements
  • Other general data entry & administrative duties
