About the Role

We are looking for Casual Stevedores to join our team at the Port of Auckland. This role supports the safe and efficient loading, unloading, handling, and movement of cargo across our port operations. All applicants must carry a current full class 1 driver license.

Roster: Shifts are offered as required based on operational demand and your availability. Shifts can range from 8 to 12 hours, across a 24/7 operation.

What will you be doing?

• Driving vehicles off of vehicle cargo ships (Ride on, Ride off)
• Loading and unloading various cargo vessels
• Handling, tallying, and storing cargo
• Operating port equipment (where qualified)
• Completing cargo and delivery documentation
• Lashing and securing cargo
• Supporting safe and efficient port operations

What We're Looking For:

• Must have full class 1 driver license
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Reliable and flexible with availability for 24/7 operation
• Good team player with a positive attitude
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand

You must pass a pre-employment medical and drug test and be eligible to work in New Zealand. You will also need to pass a pre-employment ACC & MOJ Criminal History Check.
