About the Job
You’ll be an essential part of our yard operations, responsible for safely and efficiently moving empty shipping containers.
Your day will include:
- Operating single and double stacker container hoists (stacking up to 8 high, max 45,000kg)
- Moving containers around the yard
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Communicating clearly via RT
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
Location: Mount Maunganui
3 Shifts Available: Day Shift, Monday - Friday 6.00am - 6.00pm, Night Shift, Monday - Friday 5.30pm - 3.30am and 4-On, 4-Off 6:00am to 6:00pm on a rotating roster over a seven-day week.
What You Need
- Full NZ Class 1 licence (essential)
- Experience operating heavy vehicles or machinery (essential)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
- Flexibility to work across other sites when required
- RT communication skills
Container hoists are not standard forklifts — this is a 50T machine, confidence with heavy machinery is essential for success in this role.
