About the Role

Qube Ports NZ is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the performance, compliance, and replacement of machinery across our national operations. Based in Tauranga, you'll work closely with operational and leadership teams throughout New Zealand to ensure our machinery remains safe, reliable, and fit for purpose while supporting business growth and operational efficiency.

Location: Tauranga 

Status: Full-time permanent position

Specific Responsibilities:

• Manage machinery procurement, setup, budgets, and replacement programmes
• Monitor full machine lifecycle, performance, and operating costs
• Spec fit for purpose machinery and vehicles to ensure maximum uptime and productivity.
• Conduct machinery audits and inspections across New Zealand
• Manage supplier and contractor relationships
• Drive innovation to improve performance

Who we're after:

• Experience managing heavy machinery, fleet assets
• Strong understanding of machinery and asset management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to travel nationally as required
• Diesel mechanical experience highly desirable
• Full New Zealand driver's license
