What's the role? 

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join the well-established Qube team Chandala Muchea depot. 

The primary focus of this position is keeping our modern fleet of Prime movers, earthmoving equipment and all mechanical equipment operational and serviced. Regularly maintain and repair when needed in accordance with requirements.

What are we offering?  

• Monday – Friday, permanent full-time

• Competitive hourly rates + super on all hours
• Rotating On-Call Roster 
• Permanent Full Time with Job Security 
• ‘Refer a Friend’ program – both parties will earn $500 each

To be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have: 

• 1 year (minimum) of experience with Heavy Road Transport.
• Current Trade Certificate.
• Volvo and EBS experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic and fault-finding skills, coupled with an ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels are important.
• Ability to work safely, uphold safe practices and procedures in a regulated environment, in a small team environment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
