We’re seeking someone motivated to support our team in and around the workshop, assisting our Refrigeration Engineers with basic repairs, servicing, and maintenance on shipping container machinery at our Sulphur Point Depot. You don’t need extensive experience — just mechanical and electrical aptitude, a genuine interest in learning on the job, and a positive, “can do” attitude.

What You'll Do

The primary purpose of this role is to support the team in the workshop floor day-to-day operations.

Your day will include:

You’ll get stuck into manual labour, general workshop tasks, and help out across all areas of the workshop. We need someone flexible and motivated, willing to learn, and happy to chip in with whatever’s needed to keep things running smoothly.

Typical hours

• Monday–Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
• Saturday: 7:00am – 12:00pm

What We're Looking For

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic + willingness to learn on the job
• Full class 1 driver’s licence
• Physical fitness and a positive” can do attitude”
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Requirements

• Pre‑employment medical and drug test
• MOJ criminal history check
• NZ work eligibility or a valid 2+ year work visa
