ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, coordinating multiple priorities, and delivering exceptional recruitment and onboarding experiences.
As a key member of our People & Culture team, you'll play an important role in helping us attract, recruit, and onboard talented people across our operations and support functions throughout New Zealand.
This role has a strong focus on recruiting operational and frontline employees, including drivers, labourers, apprentices, trades assistants, surveyors, repairers and other key roles that help keep our business moving.
Location: Auckland or Tauranga
Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, from advertising through to appointment and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and identify high-quality candidates.
- Support candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, and offer processes.
- Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction activities for new employees.
- Prepare employment-related documentation including employment agreements, variations, transfers, and correspondence.
- Support managers with recruitment best practice and employment processes
What You Bring
- Previous experience in recruitment, HR administration, talent acquisition, or a related coordination role. (Preferred)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- A customer-focused approach with a genuine desire to support both candidates and hiring managers.
- Confidence working with systems, reporting, and administration processes.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
