About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our team based in the West Perth Office with travel to operational sites in Western Australia. This role will support the business by performing several key HR activities such as manage employee relations issues, work with managers to develop and maintain their workforce plans, coach, and mentor managers to improve employee performance and address behavioural issues. This role reports to the General Manager – People and Culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, talent management, and other HR-related matters.
- Coach managers on effective people management practices, conflict resolution, and performance improvement techniques.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and HR procedures and policies.
- Develop and implement initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture in line with the organisation’s vision, mission, and values.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting on HR data to support operational decision making.
- Provide critical insights and trends to management, achieved through analysis of HR data and metrics (internal and external)
- Provide timely accurate reporting to provide data insights to support operational decisions (Manning report, employee movements report, terminations report).
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees on various HR-related enquiries and concerns.
- Participate in recruitment processes by providing input on job descriptions, interview processes, and candidate assessment criteria.
Qualification & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor
- Knowledge of Industrial Relations and regulatory environment
- Experience in HR management in a blue-collar environment
- Strong internal customer relationship skills
- Strong communication and team approach
- Exemplary organisational skills and attention to detail
