ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary purpose of the Supply Chain Manager is to ensure effective Management of Key Clients within the Qube Energy business, fostering long-term partnerships whilst providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth by delivering efficient and reliable logistics solutions. The role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction, maximising revenue, and driving business growth.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Ensure the correct services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
  • Maximising revenue and business growth
  • Conduct and chair regular (quarterly) meetings with customers. Responsible for agenda, minutes and prompt resolution of customer’s requests from meeting.
  • Site visits and on-site customer contact (travel will be part of the role)
  • Liaise with Contract Manager on all contractual matters

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration and or logistics, supply chain management is desired
  • Previous experience in an Oil & Gas environment, particularly in the logistics and supply chain aspects, is essential
  • Experience in managing key accounts, building relationships, and driving business growth within the Oil and Gas industry is highly desirable
  • A solid understanding of supply chain and logistics processes including transportation, inventory management and warehousing
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential for effectively engaging with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in achieving results through Quality Management and Continuous Improvement Concepts
  • Experience in the implementation and on-going management of quality systems and procedures
  • Proven problem-solving ability with a solutions orientation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power point
  • Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
  • Ability to work well within a small team environment
