What's the role?  

Qube Bulk are currently looking for an experienced Tyre Fitter to join the Qube team in the WA Northern Goldfield region, to service fleets across the Thunderbox & Bronzewing operations. The main focus of these roles will be helping keep our modern fleet of Prime movers, earthmoving equipment and all mechanical equipment operational and serviced, maintained and repaired as needed in accordance with requirements.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:

• Must hold a valid High-Risk Forklift Ticket
• Other machine operating tickets & qualifications – highly regarded
• Current Drivers Licence – HR Licence holders, highly regarded
• Previous experience working with heavy vehicles & equipment in a similar role
• Proven experience working with Kenworth, Cummins and CAT vehicles
• Ability to communicate effectively with drivers & plant operators
• Ability to carry out truck and trailer tyre replacements, inspections, rotations and minor repairs and maintain records of work
• Able to carry out repairs as directed and parts change outs
• Capacity to attend fleet roadside breakdowns
• Experience ordering parts using order numbers and listed suppliers
• Ability to identify and record deficiencies relating to products and services
• Experience completing stocktake of tyre stocks and maintain approved stock levels
• National Police Clearance & Traffic History Report – dated within 3-6 months of application 
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening 
• Good mechanical aptitude
