The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to join our well-established team in Acland to manage the servicing, maintenance and repair of a fleet of haulage trucks and ancillary equipment. The ideal person for this role will have the capability to hit the ground running and lead a strong team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Mechanical Trade Certification
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar leadership role
• Must have prior experience in a heavy transport or mining environment 

• Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people
• Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
• Ability to work well within a small team environment

• Must have a 100% commitment to complying with all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures
