About the Role

Qube Logistics is one of New Zealand’s leading providers of empty shipping container services. We're looking for a confident, safety-focused Hoist Driver to join our busy Auckland depots and play a key role in keeping our operations moving.

As part of our yard operations team, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of empty shipping containers.

Your Day Will Include

• Operating single and double stacker container hoists (stacking up to 8 high, up to 45,000kg)
• Moving containers throughout the yard
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Communicating clearly via RT
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and site requirements

Locations: Onehunga and Otahuhu

2 Shifts Available: Day Shift, Monday - Friday 6.00am - 5.00pm and Night Shift, Monday - Friday 5.00pm - 3.30am

What You Need

• Full NZ Class 1 Licence (essential)
• Experience operating heavy vehicles, plant, or machinery
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
• Flexibility to work across other sites when required
• Good RT communication skills

PLEASE NOTE

Container hoists are not standard forklifts. To be successful in this role, you'll need confidence operating large-scale heavy machinery and working in a fast-paced operational environment.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Successful pre-employment medical and drug test
• Ministry of Justice criminal history check
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
