THE ROLE

Qube Ports are seeking a Strategic Growth Analyst to identify and drive key growth opportunities through data-driven insights, market analysis, and strategic planning. In this role, you'll work cross-functionally to optimise business performance, identify growth opportunities, and support high-impact initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identification, pursuit and analysis of suitable acquisition targets, infrastructure development and organic growth opportunities.
  • Provide financially driven insights to support these strategic pursuits. The insights should be supported with financial modelling and detailed briefing notes.
  • Assist with tender specification packages alongside Commercial Team (inclusive of pricing, research, and/or general strategic insights).
  • Provide monthly reporting to management of opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum qualifications are an undergraduate degree in an appropriate area of study (Business, Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Mathematics or Engineering)
  • Post-graduate qualifications desirable (CPA or equivalent)
  • Commercial and customer relationship experience.

KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and their applications in financial reporting. 
  • Strong financial modelling skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a variety of conflicting priorities over extended periods
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
