Finance and Quotation Officer - Dampier

About the role

The primary purpose of the Accounts Officer is process Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) invoices, co-ordinate and perform clerical accounts functions for the assigned regions, as well as assisting the key relationships to adhere to company policies.

Location: Dampier 

NOTE: THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL POSITION. FIFO APPLICANTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Remuneration: $120,000 + super + remote area allowance

Specific Responsibilities

  • To ensure all contract rates are invoiced to client in accordance with the specific contract
  • To ensure all contract conditions pertaining to rates and services are adhered to
  • To ensure all relevant paperwork is collated and attached as per invoicing procedures
  • Co-ordinate operational information and input data into invoicing system within required time frames to ensure customer contracts are adhered to
  • Ensure all revenue is captured
  • Ensure all client invoices are sent out following company procedure
  • Creation of AR invoices within Connect form provided proforma information
  • Record and maintain accruals based on work throughout the month for AR
  • Ensure all month end deadlines are met
  • Ensure all vendor invoices are authorised in accordance with company policy
  • Coding and matching of AP invoices as per the finance System
  • Reconcile supplier statements and relevant accounts on a monthly basis
  • Provide accrual information for AP & AR at month end
  • Maintenance of all files and records associated with the role
  • Other ad hoc duties as required to assist with the finance function

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years office experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic accounts principles
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power point
