About the Role:

As a Plant Coordinator, you'll help keep our port machinery operating safely and efficiently. This hands-on role involves driving a bulk fuel truck to refuel and service equipment, coordinating repairs, and working closely with mechanics and contractors. We're looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and experience working around machinery, ideally with a mechanical background or trade qualification.

Status: Permanent role 4 on, 4 off roster working dayshift 0400-1600

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate bulk fuel truck to deliver fuel to port machinery (Class 2 vehicle)
  • Carry out basic machinery repairs and greasing.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and report all health and safety incidents.
  • Inspect and report on damage of machinery.
Attributes required:
  • Proven mechanical experience, preferably with heavy diesel machinery
  • Level 3 Mechanical Qualification in the Automotive Industry is required; however, a Level 4 Qualification is preferred.
  • Class 2 license, dangerous goods endorsement, “F” endorsement, OSH Forklift Certificate
