About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair a wide range of heavy off‑road machinery, including loaders, material handlers, terminal tractors and forklifts. As a 24/7 operation, we rely on our mechanical team to keep our stevedoring and logistics equipment running around the clock.
Location: Tauranga
Status: Up to $46.00 p/h Full-time, Mon-Fri working 7am to 4pm
Specific Responsibilities:
- Replacing / repairing machinery components
- Servicing machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in a variety of heavy loaders, excavators, forklifts & trucks
- Repairs to attachments, grapples & log heads
Who we're after:

NZQA Automotive Heavy Engineering Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) required
- Proven experience working on heavy vehicles and machinery
- Solid understanding of hydraulic systems
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Bring a positive, can-do attitude to the role
