About the Role
We’re looking for a Return-to-Work Coordinator to support the effective management of workplace injuries and rehabilitation across the business. You’ll play a key role in coordinating return-to-work programmes, ensuring ACC requirements are met, and supporting continuous improvement in injury management and safety outcomes.
Location: Tauranga
Status: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Specific Responsibilities:
- Coordinate return-to-work plans alongside managers, ACC/Wellnz, and health providers
- Monitor and manage injury claims, ensuring files are kept accurate and up to date
- Complete initial needs assessments and maintain regular contact with injured employees
- Track medical certificates, physio treatments, and related documentation
- Support first week payments and liaise with Payroll and People & Culture
- Provide regular updates to managers on injury progress and expected return dates
- Assist with ACC audit preparation and ongoing compliance requirements
Who we’re after:
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience in administration, ideally within H&S or injury management
- Confident working across multiple stakeholders and building relationships
- Able to work independently while contributing to a wider team
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience with ACC or workplace rehabilitation is advantageous
