The Opportunity
Qube Bulk are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join the team in Port Hedland to support our Pilbara Bulk Haulage operations across various locations within the region.
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that operational standards are met by leading a team with effective delivery of product supply and haulage services to our client and providing support & leadership on culture and company standards across all site operations.

Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:
- Current Drivers Licence – ideally HR or higher
- Current High-Risk Forklift Ticket
- MUST hold current WA Statutory Supervisor (S26) Certification
- Must have minimum 2+ years prior working experience within the mining, heavy diesel maintenance or transport industry
- Capability to demonstrate leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve results
- An understanding of safety & compliance practices and regulations within the industry, including an understanding of the chain of responsibility
- Ability to be flexible & adaptable to work in a demanding environment
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as be able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to communicate with a variety of people
- Advanced knowledge & experience with Microsoft applications
- Proven ability to pick up internal systems (IT) quickly
- National Police Clearance – dated within 12 months of application
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Good mechanical aptitude
Specific Responsibilities
- Leadership and Supervision of haulage fleets
- Oversee completion of driver inductions and that they are conducted effectively. Permits and licenses are valid and maintained, total adherence to site and road regulations.
- Manage drivers safely through their shift; pre-start checks processes including TRAMS / JSA are adhered to at all times, monitor and manage fatigue. Deliver against safety management plans and manage adherence within the team.
- Conduct Toolbox talks, delivering clear and consistent messages Incident response: Involvement and assistance.
- Support Operations Manager in conducting effective, high quality incident investigations. Responsible for the implementation of corrective actions
- Address performance issues within the team (with Operations Manager support).
- Ensuring staff have skills required to undertake tasks as designated
- Maintain fleet paper trail on servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Communicate effectively with all drivers, operators & other company personnel
- Identify and record deficiencies relating to products and services.
